Teacher: When we talk about something or somebody, we may use adjectives, for example, “What do you think of this book? Is it interesting?” And then look at some adjective: interesting,delicious, exciting, terrible, expensive…
环节说明:通过使用形容词来描述生活中事物,导入重点词汇和重点句型。让学生学会正确使用形容词评论事物。
Step 2 完成教材1a~1e的任务
【操作案例】
1.要求学生翻开课本P4,迅速阅读1a部分的形容词,并按要求完成课本上相应的任务,然后订正答案。(1分钟)
Teacher: Look at the six words. They are adjectives. Can you say out their meanings? And can  you match the words with the pictures?
2.先要求学生完成1b部分的任务。然后小组讨论并向全班同学展示讨论结果,老师订正答案。(2分钟)
Teacher: Work in pairs to write the correct words in the blanks, and then give your answers to the class.
3.听第一遍录音,完成课本上1c部分的任务。然后与学生一起核对答案。(2分钟)
Teacher: Lisa is talking about her vacation. Now listen to the tape and complete 1c.
4.听第二遍录音,完成课本上1d部分的任务。让学生根据所听到的内容完成表格。(3分钟)
Teacher: In the tape, Lisa is using some adjectives to talk about her vacation. Now fill in the chart with the adjectives you hear.
5.听第三遍录音,并打开听力材料,全班逐句进行跟读。(2分钟)
6.完成课本上1e部分的任务。让学生根据听力材料中的内容,灵活运用形容词谈论Lisa 的假期。(3分钟)
7.要求学生模仿听力内容,利用1e的信息分角色练习对话。然后邀请2-3对同学当堂演示。看哪一对的表现最佳。(3分钟)

Step 3完成教材2a~2e的任务
【操作案例】
1.要求学生完成2a部分的任务。让学生利用1a部分的形容词谈论自己的假期活动,并邀请2-3组同学进行演示。(2分钟)
Teacher: Work in pairs to talk about the activities in your vacation.
2.要求学 生快速默读2b的两篇日记,熟知大意,并完成2b的任务。然后邀请2-3位同学给出自己的答案,全班一起检查讨论。(5分钟)
Teacher: We are going to read the diary entries on page 5.First we shall read to the tape together. That is, we s t art reading as the recorder goes, and we stop reading aloud as the recorder stops.
3.完成课本2c部分的任务。再邀请几位同学阅读2c中的句子,并翻译句子内容,然后让学生带着问题再去读课文。再让几位同学回答问题。(4分钟)
Teacher: Let’s read the questions in 2c and read the diary entries in 2b again to fill in the chart.
4.完成教材2d的任务。让学生略读课文,然后利用所获取的信息完成对话。最后邀请几个学生给出答案。(4分钟)
Teacher: Read the diary entries quickly and complete the conversation about Jane’s trip t o Penang using the information in the diary entries. Then give the class your answers.
5.完成教材2e的任务。结合第二篇日记的内容,利用所给的单词了解2e的大意,根据日记的陈述选用所给单词的正确形式填空,小组内讨论。并邀请2-3组同学给出答案并订正。(4分钟)[
Teacher: Well, on Tu esday Jane didn’t have a great day. Now imagine Jane went to Penang Hill again and had a great day. Please fill in the blanks in her diary entry with the correct forms of the verbs in brackets.
6.巩固训练。(6分钟)
根据汉语意思完成句子,每空一词。
1.天气晴朗,我们决定去参观长城。
It is sunny, so we decide to visit the Great Wall.

I wonder where you went yes terday.
